a. Payment Information and Identity Verification

Images of your government-issued ID (as authorized by relevant regulations), your ID number or other verification information, and bank account or payment account details are examples of such information. We may obtain payment information about you even if you are not a Service user, such as when a Service user submits this payment information to fulfill your purchased services, complete the transaction, and detect and prevent fraud. If you give us a copy of your ID, we may scan, use, and keep the information on it to authenticate your identity.

b. Payment using an unregistered bank account or credit card

We gather information such as the services purchased, the date and time of your transaction, any special instructions, and any points you accumulate or prizes or promotions you redeem as part of a loyalty or rewards program when you complete a purchase. This transaction information is used to complete your booking or reservation, update your rewards, detect and prevent fraud, customize your experience, run analytics/identify use patterns, and influence our advertising and marketing.

We share personal information with third parties in order to provide you with services and run our business (for example, provide credit card processing, customer service, business analytics, and fraud prevention and compliance services, and to serve you with advertising tailored to your interests). Google’s advertising requirements can be summed up by Google’s Advertising Principles. They are put in place to provide a positive experience for users.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

YouTube

Customers utilizing our Republishing feature to distribute their podcast content in video form to YouTube will be subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and YouTube’s Terms of Service. Marketmind Local’s YouTube feature may utilize the YouTube API to distribute podcast episodes directly to Customers’ YouTube channels.

We have implemented the following:

• We along with third-party vendors, such as Google use first-party cookies (such as Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the Facebook cookie) or other third-party identifiers together to compile data regarding user interactions with ad impressions, and other ad services functions as they relate to our website.

• Users can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Settings page. Alternatively, you can opt out by visiting the Network Advertising initiativeoptoutpage or permanently using the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser add-on.

How does our site handle do not track signals?

We honor do not track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.

Does our site allow third-party behavioral tracking?

It’s also important to note that we do not allow third-party behavioral tracking.

5. Account Management

a. Updating your Account

Some of your personal information may be seen and updated through your Account settings. If you linked your Marketmind Local Account to a third-party service, such as Facebook or Google, you may update your preferences and disconnect from that service under your Account settings. It is your responsibility to keep your personal information up to date.

b. Account Deletion

Deleting your account will result in an irreversible closure of your Marketmind Local account. Your personal information will be permanently destroyed after your account termination request has been completed (except for certain information that we may retain, as outlined in our Privacy Policy). This means that we will no longer be able to offer you our services, and if you want to use Marketmind Local again in the future, you will need to create a new account.

6. International Data Transfers

Marketmind Local is based in the Philippines, and by using our services or providing us with your personal information, you understand and agree that your information may be transferred to and processed in the Philippines or any other country where our service providers are located. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

We take appropriate measures to ensure that any international data transfers comply with applicable laws and provide adequate protection for your personal information.

We may collect analytics data or utilize third-party analytics tools like Google Analytics to assist us to evaluate traffic and usage trends, as well as our users’ demographics, in order to optimize our Services. Accordingly, we are not responsible for the Service providers’ independent collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information outside of the Services we provide. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the Service. We do not collect personally identifying information from minors under the age of 18. If we learn that a minor under the age of 18 has supplied us with Personal Information, we will erase the information from our records.
