Open to all residents of Cagayan de Oro City and nearby cities and municipalities, aged 18 years old and above. Check out the full mechanics!
Mechanics:
1. This contest is open to all residents of Cagayan de Oro City and nearby municipalities and cities who are at least 18 years of age.
2. This is an amateur contest. Those with professional managers/management contract/singing contracts or those that have previously won in any national or international singing competitions are disqualified from joining.
3. Interested participants must complete an online registration form.
4. Registration periof is from June 17 to June 30, 2024.
5. Each contestant must submit an audition video. Audition videos should not be more thatn 4 minutes long and must be in a raw unedited format. Audition videos must likewise be a new video and must not be a past video of an old/previous performance.
6. Audition videos will be screened based on this criterion:
40% – Tone
40% – Voice Projection
20% Intonation
100% – TOTAL
7. A panel of judges will review the audition videos and select a pre-determined number of bands to advance to the performance round.
8. Selected contestants will be notified and invited to participate in performance round.
9. FInalist bands will perform live in front of the judges in Ayala Malls Centrio, Activity Center on July 12, 2024.
10. The said performance will be judged based on the following criteria:
40% – Tone Quality
30% – Voice Projection
20% – Stage Impact
10% – Intonation
100% – TOTAL
11. Performers may perform any song original or cover as long as ut has no lwed, freen, or obsence words or lyrics. Medley arrengement of song is not allowed.
12. Performers must provide their own minus-one music accompanument to be submitted before the competition date. Live accompaniment is not allowed.
13. Use of pyrotechnic gadgets, smoke, or combustible props are strictly not allowed.
14. Prizes to be won are as follows:
WINNER – P8,000 in cash & a trophy
1st Runner-up – P6,000 in cash & a trophy
2nd Runner-up – P5,000 in cash & a trophy
15. The organizers reserves the right to modify the competition mechanics and sachedule as deemed necessary without prior notice.
16. By participating in the competition, contestants agree to grant organizers the right to use their name, image, and performance footage for promotional purposes.
17. Contestant shortlisted based on their demo submission will be announced on July 1, 2024.
