Raise Your Voice at Amaya View: Spoken Word Contest and Open Mic Night

Spoken Word Contest is happening at Amaya View on February 16, 2024, Friday, 6PM onwards.

You are invited to perform your pieces for the SPOKEN WORD CONTEST and OPEN MIC portion! Winners will receive special prizes to be sponsored by Amaya View!

Interested? Here are the mechanics for the Open Mic portion:

Performances can be any of the following:

• Spoken Word Poetry, Poetry reading, Acoustic performance, Rap, Stand-up comedy or Improv.
• Musicians are requested to provide their own instruments or accompaniment.
• Each performer is given a maximum of 5 minutes to perform and is limited to 1 performance.
• Slots will be given for 15 performances only.
• Group performances must have a maximum of 3 members only.
• No pre-registration; first come, first serve (no reservation of slots).
