Event Name: Ibus & Torta Festival
Dates: May 10, 2024
Time: 10 AM
Venue: Kausawagan, Cagayan de Oro City
Top three (3) winners of each category will receive a cash prize and a plaque, consolation will also receive cash and a certificate of participation.
Mechanics:
1. This competition is exclusive to all citizens of Barangay Kauswagan
2. Torta must be prepared and cooked live at Barangay Kauswagan.
3. Packaging of torta will be done at barangay hall compound, with allotted time given.
4. Torta consists of 35 pieces and 12 pieces of it for packaging (6 pieces in a box are allowed) and another 13 pieces for festival display.
5. Ibus must be cooked on the spot, with allotted time to be give to participants.
6. Ibus with a twist will be displayed during the competition.
7. Ibus consists of 50 pieces, 10 pieces of it for plating display, and another 25 pieces for festival display.
8. For this to be known as Kauswagan product.
The judge’s decision is final and non-revocable.
9. Competition will be on May 10, 2024.
Criteria:
40% – Taste and Nutritional Value
The dish should be nutritionally well balanced and must emphasize Pinoy taste.
30% – Visual appeal
The contrast of plating and design.
20% – Originality and Creativity
Recipes are not copied from magazines, cookbooks, or other contests.
10% – Overall Presentation
Appetizers and the main course shall compliment the flavors, taste, and style of each other.
100% – Total Possible Points
