Dragon Boat Kagay-an invites you to participate in the 2nd Kagay-an International Dragon Boat Fiesta Race on Aug 10-11, 2024. Racing will take place along Isla de Oro, Cagayan de Oro City River, the City of Golden Friendship, the White Water Rafting capital of the Philippines and the country’s adventure capital.

There are no restrictions on crew composition, or age, except that competitors under 12 years old must be accompanied in the boat by a parent or nominated responsible adult. All competitors must wear personal floatation device (PFD).
It will be a minimum of 8 to a maximum of 10 paddlers of either gender. Drummer and helm can be of either gender. All competitors must wear personal floatation device (PFD).
Competitors must be age 12 to 24 in year 2024. A false declaration may result in disqualification of the individual concerned, the crew concerned or the competition class entered. For identification purposes, photographs of age identification must be forwarded together with the Entry Form. All competitors must wear personal floatation device (PFD).

A minimum of 18 to a maximum of 20 paddlers, 1 helm and 1 drummer, giving a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 22 racers in a competing boat, at any one time upto 4 reserve paddlers may also be nominated for a crew. The maximum number of racers in the crew would be 26 including supporting officials. The officials may be competitors.
A team may register not more than two entries in any competition class and an athlete may enter more than 1 competition class but no allowance will be made for any delays in the race program.
Champion: Php 50,000 + Trophy and medals
1st Runner-Up: Php 30,000 + Trophy and medals
2nd Runner-Up: Php 20,000 + Trophy and medals
3rdd Runner-Up: Php 10,000 + Trophy and medals
