November 30, 2023 Heroes Monument, Plaza Divisoria, Cagayan de Oro City – Commemorating the 160th Birth Anniversary Commemoration of Gat Andres Bonifacio, a Filipino revolutionary leader often called “The Father of the Philippine Revolution”, and considered one of the national heroes of the Philippines.
This year, the local government celebrates the event with the theme: “Bonifacio 2023: Katungkulan at Pananagutan Tungo sa Kaunlaran ng Bayan.”
The event highlighted wreath laying at the El Pueblo A Sus Heroes statues and was attended by Vice Mayor Jocelyn Rodriguez, City Councilor Leader Atty. Edgar Cabanlas, National Agencies, Regional Directors, different local government units and departments, members of Masons, as well as CDO barangay officials.
